Keith was born in Miami but raised in Northeast Florida, Keith’s life experiences have always been centered on the outdoors with a keen interest in water sports. While earning the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout by age sixteen, he became an avid sailor, surfer, paddle boarder, whitewater canoeist and certified scuba diver.
After graduating from the University of North Florida, Keith embarked on a career that blended his love for adventure water sports and travel. He has sailed and surfed throughout Florida, Central America, the Caribbean, Bahama Islands, Mexico, California and the south of France.
He is a professional Stand up Paddleboard athlete having competed nationally. He is also a respected member of such industry organizations as the American Canoe Association and the World Paddling Association. He is a steward and advocate for small craft access in Jacksonville and the St. Johns River.
When not on the water, Keith is an assistant coach of a youth soccer club and an adult volunteer leader and merit badge counselor with Boy Scout Troop 35 in Jacksonville.
As Harbormaster, he will organize, direct and manage all marina operations as well as oversee sailing and boating instruction, programming and activities.
Keith lives locally with his wife, Heather, their son Sebastian and golden retriever, Samson.
