Yacht Club's premiere cuisine is attributed to our highly qualified and
internationally experienced Executive Chef, Wong C. Chor. Chef Wong brings
more than 35 years of experience with him from 5 Star Hotels, Restaurants
and Resorts around the globe. Chef Wong began his career at The Singapore
Hotel & Catering School and then attended The Cornell University Center
for Professional Development in Food & Beverage Management. Chef Wong's
resume includes experience as an apprentice at The Goodwood Park Hotel
of Singapore (5 years), Elbow Beach Surf Club of Bermuda, Inter-Continental
Hotel Tamanaco of Venezuela, El Camino Real Hotel in Mexico City, Acapulco
Princess Hotel & Resorts, Rio Palace Hotel in Copacabana Beach Brazil,
Resort & Casino Ceromar Hotel in Puerto Rico and The Super Resorts
Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. In the United States his experience
ranges from The Inn on the Park in Houston, The Ritz, The Lodge &
Beach Club at Ponte Vedra Beach and The Orange Grove Country Club of Boca
Raton. Especially proficient in ice sculpture, butter sculpture, vegetable
carving and food arrangement, his dishes delight all of the senses. Chef
Wong's palette of savory cuisine is a blend of French Asian Cuisine. In
his spare time he is an Artist creating Wildfowl wood carvings.
