Lane Brown has been the Maintenance Manager for Epping Forest since May of 1998. Lane starting as an apprentice in the maintenance department learning the different components and operating systems of the Club. Lane is a native of Jacksonville, growing up in Nashville Tennessee and then moving back in later years to graduate and join the Navy where he completed Submarine school. After being Honorably discharged, Lane went on to being a sheet metal fabricator, a plumber then to working on the road for 4 years doing electrical grounding. After completing those jobs Lane enrolled into college and completed with an AS in Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering with Honors. Having found employment with Epping Forest, he found that this place had a use for all his talents with daily challenges keeping him on the move with a need to expand his knowledge on a regular basis.
